Journal of Asia-Pacific Thyroid Surgery (JAPTS) is the official journal of the Korean Intraoperative Neural Monitoring Society (KINMOS) and a joint official journal of the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery (APTS).
The journal aims to publish high-quality clinical and basic research covering thyroid surgery and related fields, while also encompassing intraoperative neuromonitoring, neurophysiology, and multidisciplinary approaches that contribute to surgical safety, nerve preservation, and functional outcomes.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, studies on thyroid surgery, parathyroid surgery, head and neck surgery, intraoperative neural monitoring, applied neurophysiology, surgical anatomy, surgical techniques and strategies, perioperative management, and emerging technologies relevant to endocrine and head and neck surgery. The journal also welcomes research on postoperative outcomes, complications, quality of life, and innovation in surgical practice.
JAPTS publishes articles in English twice a year, on May 30 and November 30. Article types include Original Articles (basic and clinical research), Review Articles, and Case Reports.
JAPTS is an open-access journal provided free of charge. There are no submission fees, page charges, or article processing charges for authors.
